Best of the fabulous 4 Corners Area Workshop Series

Photo Workshop of Arches, Canyonlands National Parks, Utah USA

Daylight and Night Sky

Nov 8th-13th

Mesa Arch

Our Subjects

Arches National Park, contains the world's largest concentration of natural sandstone arches. Although over 2,000 arches are located within the park's 76,518 acres, the park also contains an astounding variety of other geological formations. Colossal sandstone fins, massive balanced rocks, soaring pinnacles and spires which, will with our guidance, allow you to create endless new iconic images of the uncommon place.

Canyonlands a seemingly infinite high desert of rock, with spectacular formations and rugged gorges that have been carved over the centuries by the forces of the Colorado and Green rivers. Massive sandstone spires and arches that seem to defy gravity, all colored by iron and other minerals in shades of orange, red, and brown, which define the national parks of southeastern Utah. This is a land that begs to be photographed . And this workshop holds a few surprises too, from Ancestral Puebloan (also called Anasazi) dwellings, rock art and dinosaur bones.

Join Jess in this workshop series to the little photographed areas of the fabulous 4 corners region of Utah. This workshop will feature unique views and locations beyond the normal visitor locations. In this part of the series we will not only photograph the graceful arches and spires of Arches National Park and the stunning vistas of Canyonlands the largest of Utah's five National Parks but we will photograph several more remote scenic and historically unique locations in daylight and with the star filled night sky. But more than just grabbing a photo we will show you how to explore capturing images of these great locations in ways to make your work stand out from the crowd.

Photographers come to the Canyons and Hoodoos around Moab every year seeking to capture great images of one of the world's most dramatic landscape locations. Great light, red rocks, natural stone arches and the amazing southwest canyons will make this workshop enriching and rewarding. This instructional workshop is designed and timed to hit the best color and light angles in this vast scenic area. We are able to be extremely productive thanks to Jess's decades of experience in this area.

We take you to the places beyond the norm.
