This page gives general pricing information if you want to license an image for commercial use, such as:

Advertising, brochures or promotion of a product or service
Magazine or Newspaper editorial
Web pages
Text Books, Art Books, CD Covers, Posters, Calendars, etc.

To determine the license fee for your use, determine your image size first, then identify the appropriate rate table.

How did we come up with these prices?

 They are not written in stone. Rates are based on data collected by fotoquote, a software program that aggregates data from the previous year for the most commonly used forms of commercial licensing. We have also used prices from other stock photographic suppliers as a basis for determining our price. This is for reference only to establish industry standards for fees for commercially licensed images. If these rates don't fit your budget contact us and let us know what you expect to pay for your needed usage.

Please do not request an image without a detailed and specific description of use needed!

  Images are provided in digital format onlysized at 300 dpi according to the chart on the right, and delivered using JPG compression level 9, which is reasonable for most output purposes. (Raw tiff files are delivered only upon special request.)
  Prices listed are for one image on a one-time use basis. Per-image discounts may apply for multiple images or uses or both.
  Images are made available for internet download only after payment is received.
  Payment is in US dollars only, and must be made by credit card (PAY PAL), or by check.

Power point/Overhead Presentation

  Fees for such use is generally $50/image.
  Rates may be higher based on size, placement and geographic target.
  For a specific quote, indicate the image(s) you're interested in, use (web address, presentation, etc), and the context of use (web banner, customer presentation, lecture, etc.)
  If you already have a prototype page set up, show me.

CD Cover Art

  Images to be used for CD covers for musical artists is a flat $50/image fee.
  You may use the image for cover art, web use, and any promotional use for the associated CD.

Rate Tables for Most Common License Requests

Charts are guidelines only; pricing is not established till human confirmation. Licensing reflects national and international distribution. Rate are lower if your "distribution" area covers a smaller region (N/A Web) Discounts available for multiple images and multiple uses (except Web).
