The Best of Southern Utah and Northern Arizona Photo Tour.
Including Zion, Bryce, Slot Canyons, Escalante/Grand Staircase.
April 18th-24th
Spring foliage, Red Rocks and the southwest canyons will make this one of your most rewarding photo tours ever. This instructional tour is designed to hit the best color and most unique scenes in this vast scenic area. We are able to be extremely productive thanks to Jess's decades of experience in this area. While other tours will have you setting at your computer during the harsh light of the day we will be traveling to our next location to be on the mark at the best time in the best light.
We will start the trip in Hurricane Utah just outside St George where we will meet and take off for a evening shoot in Zion's Kolob Canyon.
Day 2. The next morning will find us exploring, Zion's Virgin River Valley before photographing our way to our afternoon locations of Red Canyon and Bryce Canyon National park.
Day 3 After our sunrise shoot at Bryce we will head south, photographing the unique vistas of the Grand Staircase Paria bluffs, Skutumpah and Cottonwood Canyon on our way to Page.
Day 4-5-6. The landscape around Page offers a unique variety of photo opportunities. We will photograph Upper and Lower Antelope canyons, little known hoodoos, goblins, and overlooks. In addition we will photograph more well known areas such as Horseshoe Bend and Marble Canyon.
Mother nature's schedule and the southwestern light will be our guide for exact time and days.
Day 7. After our moring shoot we will be returning to St. George for your homeward depature.
