Zion, Bryce, Southwest Utah Photo workshop and tour.
November 9th-15th
Brilliant autumn foliage of Zion , Red Rocks of Bryce Canyon and the full moon over the canyon country will make the images from this tour an awesome addition to your portfolio. Not only will you have a chance to photograph spectacular red rock country with the peak of autumn color but you will be taught how to find the best compositions and use the proper techniques to make the most of you chosen scene. In addition you will have a chance to use in the field Canon tilt shift lens (24,45and 90) for depth of field control and panoramas. Mid day will give us a chance to explore digital image processing and file management.
This trip is designed to hit the best colors over this vast scenic area. We will start the trip Hurricane Utah were we will take off for a evening shoot of Zion's Kolob Canyon. The next 3 days will find us exploring, Zion's virgin river valley, the Narrows, Checkerboard Mesa and many other remote creeks and side canyon of the country in and around Zion National Park. Then we will be photographing our way to our afternoon shooting locations of Red Canyon and Bryce Canyon National park for afternoon and evening shots of this unique area..
Other choices will be from many of the other less well know areas I have previously explored in my many years in the canyon country.. Mother natures schedule and the southwestern light will be our guide.
